New running shoes!

Got me some new pair of running shoes yesterday! I'm so excited. My bff said I'm the only one she knows that get excited over some sneakers..lol. Yep, I 'm ..They are the  Gel Kayano 17.. ready to hit the pavement running!

reconnecting? not sure

Yesterday went to the track and worked out with DH. We did some sprints together. Although I felt like I was about to die. We did one mile and started doing 6 quarter mile runs where I would have to run the first quarter mile under 3 min. I ran it in 2:08. I wanted to fall out but didn't want to embarrass  myself in front of the group of people playing soccer. Today we went to the gym doing lunch break. He told me last night that he's glad we have started to work back out together. He like the fact that we are reconnecting. Hmmm i don't know how i feel about that. I love working out with him because he pushes me as I do him which he stated. But I want let myself full open up with the idea of me reconnecting to him. Not fully. I guess I will just go with the flow and see where this go. But I'll always have my guard up and it's going to take alot for me to let it down. But only i can do that..so we will see

Race Schedule

I need to get my race schedule down and pencil in so that I can committ. Yes, I'm seriously getting involve with running only this time am taking it to the next level. Although I started running and fell in love with it just for fun. I have now decided that I would like it to be more regular by participating in different level of running events. Let me start looking. I only have one race schedule for 2012 and that's the Disney Princess Half Marathon. But I'm looking for some for this year. I would like to do a half this year just so I can see where I'm at.

So ready for the move! I need some vitamin D in my life.lol Ready to be somewhere near my family and friends. Ready to start back to school so I can finally accomplish and finish this goal. Just overall ready to start a new adventure.

Putting you in a different category

As of yesterday, I 've decided to put one of my friend in a different category in my life. That category is I'm not going to fuck with you like that anymore! Why because i feel she is too mess and it's making me look at her in a different light. I really don't have time for anyone of that caliber in my life. Lets call her CB. As I stated before that I was planning a trip to Vegas to celebrate my 40th birthday June 9th -June 12th . I invited my closest friend to help me celebrate. The only requirement that i asked of them was there will be no drama, we will be stressed free and we all must party together. I also told them if they can't afford it fine just thought I 'll give you the opportunity to come. that they could invite a friend of there along and that we will be sharing rooms which will be two to a room. V.F, R.S, AND T.D couldn't come..Okay K.N., C.D are my bff. I truly can say they are my best friend. They are very supportive , vice verse, give me a kick in the ass and will speak their mind when I'm wrong. C.L. she is a good friend which she call me her BF before I even said she was mine. I had to work my way up to it. I hate when people do that.  Now, C.L. I do consider her a good friend but not on the level as K.N. AND C.D. i TELL THEM EVERYTHING!!

I just met P.K. this year and we hit it off good. I invited her and she will be bringing her sister, room booked and paid for.  C.D., C.L. and I will be sharing a room. Booked the room already paid for.  Originally K.N. sister was coming but decide not to because she had a lot going on. C.B. sister was going changed her minds. K.N. agreed to room mate with C.B. that if she wanted to, C.B. agreed. Now all this was done back in Feb. ...Everyone except C.B. was flying in on that Thursday June 9th. My birthday is June 10th  which is that Friday the day C.B. was flying. She informed me that she would get there around 7 p.m. but if she don't have to work she will fly out early that Friday. I'm like wouldn't it be expensive to change your ticket at the last minute like that?  She said oh I'm flying thru Southwest and they don't charge you to change. I found that new to me because every airline charge to change ticket. So Shocked but I said OK. So at this point everyone suppose to  have their ticket.

Fast forward to Friday! C.B. informed me that she was bring her friend M. and  I was like okay. So are you not sharing room with K. She was like well I had plan on doing that. I then said well when were you going to inform me or k that y'all will have an extra room mate. Because although we request a double the lady said it's what's come available first at check in. Meaning that we requested a King and could get a  double or if we requested a double we might get a King. So C.B. said she will get back with me.

C.B. call Sunday and the first thing she said was I have a question? I wanted to know what's your agenda because I'm flying in on June 9th Thursday and leaving June 13 that Monday.
ME: Did you talk to M did she say she will be alright with sharing a room with KN?
CB. She's okay with it but I'm not sure if K will be but if she want us we will stay.
Me: Okay I'll call KN and let u know what she said.
ME: So now you coming in on Thursday instead of Friday..am confused? she then email her flight. I notice she's no longer flying southwest as she claimed and now she's flying spirit airlines. Now her flight is getting there at 11 p.m. Really! So I replied back was her friend M coming at the same time too?
C.B. What's your agenda? The only thing you said you was going to be doing was going to see the Lion king and you wanted to go to see the strippers. But you haven't came up with an agenda on all the other days to be doing something and never confirmed a date you was going to see the lion king..
Me:  So I was like OK. So what kind of conflict are you having.
C.B. yelled I'm not having a conflict! You picked the most expensive place to celebrate you birthday and I'm not trying to be there been all bored.
ME:  If you recalled when I invited you and everybody else I said that i wasn't coming up with an agenda because it to much to do in Vegas and i didn't want anyone feeling the need to do everything i wanted to do or felt they had to be with me 24/7 that's why i said bring friend. As far as Lion King we are seeing that on Thursday, ticket brought and paid for.  and you will not be there so what's the problem?
C.B. then say so basically you are going to wing it.
ME.  No I felt that we can go sight seeing, eat, drink , sit by the pool etc.
C.B. that's all you doing.
ME that's why I said if someone wanted to go do something else they could no hard feeling. for instance K and I are seeing the lion king. CD not going because she already seen it. So C.D. , C.L ,PK AND her sister is going to be doing their own thing until the show is over.  So again what is your conflict?
C.B. So you saying we coming for your birthday and you think we should be out there doing other things without you
Me: No what I said was we will do things like sight see etc.. but if you don't want to go due to you not having the money, tired or wanted to do something else it's fine  with me.. all i do know is we will be partying at night  and during the evening it's whatever. taking in consideration of my friends pocket. 
CB. YELLED, that's THE MOST STUPID THING I'VE HEARD AND YOU ARE REALLY BEGINNING TO PISSED ME OFF. HOW ABOUT YOU CALL ME WHEN YOU MAKE SENSE BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT LISTENING TO ME AND  I DON'T FEEL LIKE TALKING TO YOU AND AFTER THIS I WILL NEVER HAVE TO TALK TO YOU AGAIN!
ME:  yelled NO HEFFA I'M LISTENING YOU JUST NOT UNDERSTANDING WHAT I'm SAYING. YOU CALL ME WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE TALKING AND I GIVE A DAMN IF YOUR ASS CALL ME OR NOT! she hang up on me!

So CB call me back because she have been looking at attraction. I 'm like OK She went on and on about we can go see the hoover dam, grand canyon do the air plane flight over Vegas. I'm like that sounds good but I know everybody isn't going to go because K is afraid of height and how much does this cost? I was looking for things to do for free? They had a tour to go see the hoover dam for $30 but CB wanted to catch a taxi because she wanted to just take pics not do the tour because she wasn't trying to go Thur the how guide. SMDH because she's not making any sense. So as she goes on and on she then say well idk because not everybody might not want to do this so i guess i 'll just wait. SO i told her i will call her back.
I really don't see what the problem is and I call my BFF C.D because I wanted to know if i was wrong. I explain the situation word for word. C.D said she can see her CB pov and mines. BUT everybody pocket isn't deep and that she love me but she isn't going broke in Vegas because she had to live when she got back but at the same time she felt that CB was making a big deal out of things she shouldn't have because she is the one changing things at the last minute ie; plane ticket, room mate and hotel room. Yes I said Hotel while on the phone C.B. CALL to leave a voice mail message "This is your so call friend and i had a question for you but since you are not answering I booked my hotel ticket at Stratosphere and it's way cheaper then the MGM and it nice. I don't know if your "FRIENDS" have gotten their room but if they wanted to they can get the room there because it's much "CHEAPER" than the MGM! I will talk with you sometime next week.

I email her back and just said "Got your voice mail message. Thanks for sending the info on where you will be staying and giving the head up on the hotel cost. But, the other guests had already book their room at the beginning of when I first mention the Vegas trip. Ttul."

I really wished I never invited her and after my trip I will not be fucking with her like that anymore. I will NEVER invite her on any future trips. Of course the MGM prices is going to be high if you look at it now. We brought our hotel tickets in Feb they was cheap back then. She took it upon herself to get a room before I could even talk to K about having an extra room mate which I'm sure K wouldn't mind.. I think she is very inconsiderate consider now she left K with the cost of the room by herself when initially they was suppose to be sharing a room. How you not communicate telling people that you change you flight, hotel etc..until later. Too damn mess for me and I can't deal with her anymore.So I will be cutting my ties.
